Small Business Focus: McKinley Marketing Partners Hires CMO

With this week’s America’s Small Business Summit organized by the US Chamber of Commerce and last week’s National Small Business Week led by the Small Business Administration, both held in Washington, DC, many area small businesses are celebrating their successes. Among them is McKinley Marketing Partners, which just hired Mike Savage as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

With more than 15 years experience in leadership roles for Fortune 500 companies including vice president of customer marketing at Vocus and senior vice president of marketing at Merkle Inc., Savage is looking forward to growing McKinley Marketing Partners as he did these firms.

“I’m thrilled to be joining such a dynamic and successful leadership team at McKinley Marketing Partners as the Chief Marketing Officer,” Savage says. “Having spent many years on the client side of the business, I understand the value McKinley’s Interim Marketing Managers bring to its roster of world-class clients across Fortune 1000 companies.”

Michelle Boggs, President and CEO of McKinley Marketing Partners, says, “Mike is a welcome addition to our talented team of marketing professionals. He will ramp up our efforts nationally and continue to align us as leaders in the interim and direct-hire staffing industry as well as develop solutions-based products for our client base.”

With knowledge of database marketing and executive management as well as branding and social networking, Savage will continue to keep McKinley at the forefront of the changes in specialized marketing services.

“I am excited to work with Michelle Boggs and the leadership team to build the strategic roadmap for the future and establish McKinley as the market leader in outsourced marketing solutions in the US,” Savage adds.

Among McKinley Marketing Partners’ recent accolades is the announcement that it is a finalist in the American Business Awards for its Marketing Campaign of the Year – Business Services. McKinley worked with another small business, award-winning DC-based Design Army, on this campaign as well as on its Direct Mail project that just won, for the sixth year in a row, the Service Industry Advertising Awards Silver Award.

With headquarters in Old Town Alexandria in a renovated warehouse, McKinley also works with Fortune 1000 companies looking for interim, direct-hire and contract-to-hire positions in Dallas, Texas and the NYC area. For more information about McKinley, go to www.mckinleymarketingpartners.com.
