WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- We are now more than a month removed from the Navy Yard shootings. On September 16 at 8:20 a.m. Aaron Alexis entered Building 197 on the Navy Yard campus and opened fire. Twelve people, including Alexis, were killed in the shootings. Three other people were injured.
Since that day there have been several questions raised about how the situation was handled by first responders. Montgomery County Police Chief Tom Manger joined us to discuss what we learned from that day.
