Free Cupcakes In Georgetown For Nationals, Orioles Fans | Restaurants
This is finally Opening Week for Major League Baseball, a time that naturally prompts some people to ask the age old question, “Why can’t I get a free cupcake for liking a sport that lasts more than half of the calendar year?”
Well, for those people, say no more. It’s time for you to reap the benefits of your allegiance.
To celebrate the start of the 2012 MLB campaign in D.C. and Baltimore, Sprinkles Cupcakes in Georgetown, located at 3015 M Street, will give a free extra cupcake to each customer who wears some form of Baltimore Orioles apparel today, April 6(Baltimore’s home opener) and a free extra cupcake to each customer who wears some form of Nationals apparel on April 12(the Nats home opener).
The limit is one per person, and you must buy a cupcake to receive the free cupcake---which will be decorated with the O’s or Nats’ logo.
Sprinkles has the official licensing rights for all the MLB teams, so this special deal is completely out of the left field (I specialize in lame puns).
So kickoff the 2012 season on a sweet note, courtesy of Sprinkles.
As an Oriole fan, I’m guessing this will probably be the highlight of my season.
